The 19th edition of the fantastic gnaoua music festival in Essaouira takes place this year between the 12th and the 15th of May.

Essaouira has an international airport as well as being easy to get to from Marrakech.

Berber music and culture is finally being given the recognition and value it deserves. It’s fun, fast, colourful and highly entertaining.

The festivals in Fez celebrates this wonderful culture and although at a relatively hot time of year, really worth a visit.

This year, the festival will be taking place from Friday the 22nd of May until Saturday the 30th of May. It’s one of many fantastic music festivals that happen every year in Morocco. Fes is an ancient city with a huge cultural history so if you can see the festival and visit the city at the same time it’s great combination.
